THANK YOU FROM AMY & JIM

Dear Camp SOAR families,

6 weeks came and went quicker than it normally does!!

I know it is said every year, but this absolutely was an amazing summer! Year 9 came with change, old staff left, and new staff began their journey. The weather was inconsistent with really hot days and more rain than normal. But nonetheless, it has been amazing watching the kids flourish, to see their friendships develop, and their independence grow. We had a really great group of campers! We started new traditions and activities and continued old activities and camper favorites. Our staff (as always) continue to be top notch! We quickly became familiar with the newbies of our CS families, and they didn't feel unfamiliar for long. This summer had very few bumps, and a plethora of successes. Each week went more quickly than the last, our days went by easily and filled with fun, lots of laughs and tons of smiles. Our campers came each day happy, well-behaved and ready to explore. We developed some really strong bonds, and that was clear by the love and respect the kids showed to their staff day in and day out.

Each year we grow, we take the suggestions and complaints from the summer prior and hope to make positive changes. This year was filled with change- some things worked and others we will continue to try to figure out the kinks. We will continue to take the suggestions, comments, compliments and complaints and continue to grow for next summer. We will continue to make adjustments to our registration process to allow for ease for both the parent and CS admin. Our program can't grow if we don't know where we lack, so as always we appreciate feedback.

Thank you parents for giving us your children for maybe 1 or any or all six weeks. Thank you for allowing us to get to know them, love them, entertain them, care for them and help them learn and grow!

Thank you to all our campers who continued to be engaged, well mannered, and on their best behaviors each and every day. They were able to follow rules, our structure and routine, and rose to CS expectations. We are so proud of you, coming each and every day and bringing your all!

Camp Soar is run much like a school (with way more fun) and not just a summer sitter. Your child is here to be engaged, active, and develop and maintain new/old friendships. We are so much more than a summer camp, we become a family. We build trust, character and long-lasting memories!

We can't thank our staff enough- they truly are the backbone of our program. Each day they come on top of their game ready to play, love, teach. Thanks for loving up our kids, keeping them safe, making each feel special and important. Each and every one of you plays a crucial role in making our program successful, thrive and building a strong SOAR family!

CS is NOT just a summer camp (not to us anyway), it is our way of impacting the youth-the future of Nazareth, to make a difference in our community and with your help….. we did just that!!!!

Looking back, we are filled with so many fun and bucket filled moments. Joy, sweet memories, special bonds, funny stories. We already have hope & anticipation for CS 2027.

Wishing all of our camp families a great end to the summer, and a wonderful start to the new school year! Keep SOARing!!!

Thanks for the memories!

Amy, Jim, and CS26 Staff
